ABC Business publications should use this report to get pricing data as a percentage of the basic price. BPA, VAC and ABC Magazine publications do not need to run this report.
On the report filter screen you must specify what the basic price is for each of the terms for which a basic price has been established. Say that your basic price for a one year subscription is $120.00 and the price for a two year subscription is $220.00. The report would then tell you how many one year orders were received in each of five groups: $120.00 and above, $90.00 to $119.99, $60.00 to $89.99, $30.00 to $59.99 and below $30.00, where these groups represent prices of 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and less than 25% of the basic price. The report will also provide similar numbers for the two year orders. Orders for terms other than those listed on the order filter will be reported in the one year term category, but with their prices prorated as if they were for one year terms.

Basic terms
Basic prices
These fields must be used in pairs. In the first pair enter the number of issues for a one year term order and the basic price for that term. In the other pairs of fields you can enter the number of issues for other standard terms and their respective basic prices. Normally you will report basic prices for one, two and perhaps three year terms, but you can enter other odd length terms too if you have "basic" prices established for those terms.
Regions that these prices apply to
Check the boxes for the regions that the prices apply to. ABC allows you establish separate basic prices for specific international regions. In that case you should run the report once for each region that has unique basic prices.
Service codes for the edition that these prices apply to
You may have separate basic prices for various editions of your publication (paper and digital, for example). In that case you should run the report once for each edition and enter here the service codes that identify that edition.
