The subscription export does not export subscription history. It uses the HISTORY1 field to store six flags.
When the HISTORY1 field begins with "!", the next six positions are used to indicate whether the balance due has been written off for order1 (the history order), order2 (the current order), and order3 (the future order) and whether the price should be prorated for a canceled subscription for order1, order2, and order3. If an order does not exist, the position will be blank. Otherwise, it will contain a "Y" or an "N." For example, if a subscription contains an expired order (order1) and an active order (order2) with no amount due written off, the HISTORY1 field would contain "!NN NN ".
If order2 was canceled for nonpayment, but the write off flag was not set (that is, the HISTORY1 field contained "!NN NY "), it would mean that QuickFill would be sending a cancel bill, a bill for the value of the issues served less any credits, with the next 'Billing' update.
Note: HISTORY1 field and the subscription import
QuickFill's subscription import will normally import the contents of the HISTORY fields (HISTORY1, HISTORY2, and HISTORY3) directly into the subscription history. The exception to this is when the first position of HISTORY1 is a "!". In this special case, QuickFill will interpret the next six positions as stated above and the remainder of the HISTORY1 field will be ignored.
