Use this menu item to specify settings for the QuickFill Internet Extensions server used to access the Internet.
The filter screen for the Internet settings has two tabs. You can move easily between tabs by clicking on the tab to which you would like to move.
General tab:
Output directory
Enter the output directory that you would like QuickFill to use for QFIE. The entry made here will be used as a default on the Internet export, Internet import, and transfer file maintenance screens.
Database ID
The GUID (global unique identifer) for your QFIE database.
Copy Database ID
Click this button to copy the GUID for your database to the Windows clipboard. This field is read only. When you first set up QFIE you will have to copy this field to an E-mail message and send it to CWC Software.
Names and addresses
These fields allow you to specify the case to be used for customers' address data. If you do not wish to change the case of customers' addresses leave the 'Do not change the case of the addresses' field selected.
Set sex based on name or prefix
Check this field, and QuickFill will set customers' 'Sex' field based on address data. The sex assigned to each customer will be based on the 'Prefix' and/or 'First name' fields.
Set prefix based on sex
Check this field, and QuickFill will assign customers a prefix based on the sex field; only customers with a blank 'Prefix' field and a sex code of 'F' or 'M' will be changed. If a name is female, the prefix "Ms." will be assigned. If a name is male, the prefix "Mr." Will be assigned.
The 'Names and addresses', 'Set sex based on name or prefix', and 'Set prefix based on sex' fields only apply to new orders and address changes and work in the same manner as they do for the 'Update addresses' update. Click her for complete details.
